Claims
All sales are final, please ensure that you have measured your walls and furniture correctly and double check your order, Parete cannot accept returns due to over procurement, misorders and open or cut goods, sorry!
Please ensure that the material you have ordered is in satisfactory condition before installation, that the material in your possession is in fact, what you ordered.
Always inspect material to confirm the right color and pattern was ordered and inspect for noticeable defects. Parete will not consider a claim once the material is cut.
Wallcovering Installations:, hang 3 strips and inspect to make sure material is free from defects. Claims cannot be considered if more than 3 strips are hung.
Any product claim must be made within a 30 day period from receipt of the material.
Claims for labor will not be entertained.
Cancellations
In stock products can be cancelled if they have not been cut or placed into transit. If a credit card was used to process payment, a processing fee will be deducted from the refund.
Products that have been placed into production but have not been cut, packaged or placed into transit can be cancelled with a 50% cancellation fee.
Orders that have been cut or shipped cannot be cancelled.
Cuttings for Approval
Wallcovering CFA’s are available for in-stock basic natural products.
Made To Order Patterns: Parete will match to a counter sample. Please note, natural materials tend to oxidize/ vary as time progresses.
We do not offer CFA’s on FauxReal upholstery as dye lots are spot on.
Trade Accounts
To set up a Trade Account, please fill out a New Account Form and include your Resale Certificate upon submission.
Payments
Full payment is required prior to shipment. Back Ordered materials require a 50% deposit to begin production. Parete takes checks, ACH transfer, Amex, MasterCard and Visa. Discounted orders must pay by check or ACH transfer only.
Production Times
Parete manufactures on a small footprint with quick turnaround times. All production dates are estimates and Parete cannot be held responsible for delays.
Reserves
Reserves can be made for a period of 7 business days for in-stock basic natural and handmade wallcoverings. FauxReal is sold on a first serve basics.
Returns
Please inspect all materials upon receipt, all sales are final and returns will not be considered for over-procurement. Claims for mis-shipments or visible product defects will only be allowed within 30 days of receipt.
Sales Tax
All orders shipped into New York State will be charged sales tax. For tax exempt orders, Parete requires a current, valid Tax Exempt form on file.
Shipping and Transit Times
Orders placed for materials in stock at our New York City Metro warehouse normally ship within 48 hours of a paid order. Shipping times for orders stocked outside our NYC Metro warehouse will be quoted upon receipt of order.
Warranty | Wallcovering
Parete warrants our material to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from date of original purchase. We cannot accept responsibility for claims if the above instructions are not followed, nor are we liable for labor and associated costs, over and above the cost for replacement material.
After hanging 3 strips of wallcovering, inspect before proceeding, no claims will be honored after 3 strips have been cut and hung.
For the warranty to go into effect it must be established that the product has:
Been properly installed and not in a manner that puts excessive stress on any part of the material.
Been properly maintained and has been cleaned using the appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
Not intentionally damaged, such as (but not limited to) tearing, puncturing, intentional graffiti or vandalism.
Any customer requested additional treatments, i.e. flame/stain treatments and micro-venting, will void Innovations standard warranty.
Warranty | Upholstery
Parete warrants our upholstery material to be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use for a period of 1 year from date of original purchase. Provided the material was used for the intended application and was cleaned using the appropriate care & cleaning methods outlined for these products. In the event that Faux Real upholstery does not perform to the specified performance standards, Parete will offer replacement material.
For the warranty to go into effect it must be established that the product has:
Been properly installed and not in a manner that puts excessive stress on any part of the material.
Been properly maintained and has been cleaned using the appropriate cleaning agents and methods.
Not intentionally damaged, such as (but not limited to) tearing, puncturing, intentional graffiti or vandalism.
Not been post-treated by the customer (such as but not limited to flame or adhesive lamination or chemical treatment after shipment by Parete).
Been upholstered in conjunction with proper foam cushioning under the material.
Not been exposed to inks or dyes that may have transferred to the material.
Our Ink and Denim resistant finishes are not warranted against permanent transfer.
If the product failure is determined to be from one of the aforementioned reasons the warranty is null and void. In the event that the product is determined by Parete to be defective during this warranty Parete will offer a replacement product for the amount of yardage used on the project offered in the form of a credit memo.
Always inspect Faux Real to confirm the right color and pattern was ordered and inspect for noticeable defects. Parete will not consider a claim once the material is cut into.
Claims
If the product failure is determined to be from one of the aforementioned reasons the warranty is null and void. All claims must be filed within 30 days of the invoice date. All merchandise must be examined prior to cutting or installation for correct color, pattern, yardage, and any other irregularities. No claims or returns will be processed once material has been cut or installed.
In cases of damage or loss during transit, it is the customer’s responsibility to notify Parete within 48 hours of delivery and provide photographs of the damages.
No claims will be accepted once material has been fully installed, removed, or otherwise altered without prior written authorization from Parete. If an issue is observed during installation, work must stop immediately, and Innovations must be contacted before proceeding or removing any material. Failure to do so voids all claims, including those related to replacement material or reimbursement.
