ABOUT WOOL: The most common material used for rugs. Incredibly durable and cleanable while still remaining cozy underfoot.
ABOUT HAND TUFTED: Hand-tufted rugs are made by punching strands of wool into a stretched canvas that is on a frame with the help of a hand-operated tufting gun. Once complete, the rug is removed from the frame and a latex backing is applied to hold the tufts in place. Often a scrim fabric is applied to the back with latex and then a cloth sheet is applied on top for a clean finish. Hand tufted rugs have a plush hand and are able to provide interesting designs at a lower price point
